Terms of Service
The service
Bee Bucks is a family rewards app. Parents award points ("Bee Bucks") to their children and manage how those points are redeemed inside the app. Bee Bucks points are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside your family's account, and exist only as a record inside the app. Any dollar figures shown in the app, vault values, interest, growth projections, are simulations for educational purposes; no actual funds are held, deposited, or invested.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 and a parent or legal guardian to create an account. One account represents one family, and the account holder is responsible for activity under it. Children do not have accounts and use the app only under a parent's account (see our Privacy Policy).
Subscriptions
Optional paid plans unlock additional features. Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly, as chosen) until canceled. You can cancel anytime via Manage Subscription; cancellation stops future renewals and your features remain active through the period you've paid for.
Founding Family price promise: families who subscribe at founding prices keep that price for as long as their subscription stays active, even after standard pricing takes effect. If you cancel and later resubscribe, then-current pricing applies. This promise stays with the account.
Refunds
If Bee Bucks Premium isn't right for your family, email isaac@mybeebucks.com within 14 days of any charge, first or renewal, for a full refund of that charge, no questions asked. After 14 days, charges are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime and keep access through the period you paid for. Refunds return to your original payment method.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the service, and don't upload unlawful content. Photos and names you add stay within your own family's account; you grant us the license needed to store and display them back to your family.
Feedback and suggestions
We love feedback and read all of it. If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback (in the app, by email, or anywhere else), you agree we can use them freely to improve Bee Bucks, without any obligation, payment, or credit, and that doing so gives you no ownership interest in the service or its features. Your feedback stays yours to use too; this is a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable license to us.
Disclaimers
The app is educational. It is not financial, investment, or tax advice. The service is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to your account address with reasonable notice.
